Johnny Parris, The Man and The Legend

Johnny Parris, founder of Act "1" Entertainments and the best friend and manager a girl could ever have, passed away on June 28th, 2010 while at home with Martha, his angel and the love of his life.

Johnny lived his life to fullest up until the last moment. He was a true gentleman and friend to all. Two weeks ago Johnny celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Act "1" Entertainments. Hundreds of friends and musicians gathered for a day of song and memories under the tent at Leon's. It was an amazing day and a wonderful tribute to "The Man and The Legend".

Johnny's legacy will live on through each one of us everytime we pick up a musical instrument or sing a song. Rest in peace Johnny. You are my hero and I will miss every day. I love you!
